Adolescents learn to cope with changes while concerned with stress, anxiety, social experience and academic achievement.
The nurses have an important role to help the adolescent to reduce anxiety by art therapy. The aim of the study is to assess the
effectiveness of art therapy on examination anxiety among adolescents in selected colleges at Kanyakumari District. Materials
and Methods: Quantitative approach was adopted for the study. Quasi experimental pre-test post-test control group design was
adopted. The sample size consisted of 60 adolescents, 30 in experimental group and 30 in control group. The conceptual frame
work is based on Von Bertalanffy`s general system model. Purposive sampling technique was adopted. The tool used for data
collection procedures was Beck Anxiety Inventory. Art therapy was given for one hour twice a week for 3 weeks. Result: The
findings showed that in experimental group 76.6% of adolescents had severe anxiety. After providing art therapy, 3.33% had
severe anxiety. The mean post-test level of anxiety score among adolescents in experimental group was less than the mean
pre-test anxiety among adolescents in control group. Conclusion: The study proved that art therapy has an effect in reducing
anxiety among adolescents.

ABSTRACT:
Introduction: Covid-19 is a pandemic that doesn’t require any further introduction as currently, the entire world is passing
through a tough fight against the infection. Mortality among patients becomes more complicated to treat with available
resources. Vaccines have played a tremendous role in preventing further complications. Methodology: A Retrospective,
observational, comparative study to observe safety and efficacy of Fabiflu Plus Doxycycline- Ivermectin Versus Doxycycline-
Ivermectin in Covid-19 Patients on an OPD basis. The sample size was 50 were 25 for each group of treatment. The study was
designed to compare the effect of treatment on oxygen saturation and inflammatory markers in participants. The secondary
objectives were to compare the effectiveness of the intervention on clinical parameters in participants. Results and discussion:
All the participants recovered well, there were no patients who progressed towards mortality. There was a significant reduction
in CRP level in a group that received favipiravir plus ivermectin and doxycycline. The oxygen saturation and haemoglobin level
remain sustained in both groups. Conclusion: Both group participants had sustained oxygen saturation and no one progressed
to mortality. The effect of favipiravir with ivermectin and doxycycline combination requires prospective evaluation in a larger
sample size. Furthermore, consideration of the standard of care, and monitoring more laboratory parameters post completion of
the study to evaluate safety and efficacy

ABSTRACT:
A descriptive study to assess the knowledge among mothers of 1-15 years children regarding juvenile diabetes mellitus. The aim of the study
to assess the knowledge among mothers regarding juvenile diabetes mellitus. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach was adopted
for the study. The study was conducted in Moonkilvilai population of the study was all mothers of 1-15 years children irrespective of their age
group. The Study subject were selected by convenient sampling method. The technique used for data collection was structured interview

analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: There was a gross inadequacy (60%) of knowledge regarding Juvenile
diabetes Mellitus among mothers of 1-15 years children. Conclusion: Most of the mothers had inadequate knowledge, only few mothers had
moderately adequate knowledge and none had adequate knowledge regarding Juvenile Diabetes Mellitus.
